An executive producer, creative director, DJ, rapper, beatmaker, MC, scientist, mystic, author, visual artist, poet, editor, fashion designer, engineer, songwriter, entrepreneur, and somewhat of a philosopher, Johnny Durkin is a bit of a Renaissance man who is used to wearing many hats. His concepts stretch from ancient Egypt to the future and his mind even further, touching topics and concepts ranging from the cosmology of the universe, geopolitics, nuclear warfare, casino heists, sex, robots, sex robots, and drug fueled road trips.

Johnny Durkin explores the architecture of sound and perception, crafting immersive experiences that challenge conventional boundaries between genres and realities. Through multiple creative identities, genres and platforms, he investigates sonic landscapes to reshape our understanding of space, consciousness, and collective experience. His works craft a narrative universe that spans across time and space, science, fiction, philosophy and life experience.

As a DJ, Johnny Durkin provides electrifying performances across multiple genres including tech house, riddim, hip hop and pop party hits. Whether it’s playing as a resident DJ for popular beach bars like Donovan’s Reef or providing immersive on brand entertainment for established oceanfront hotels like the Wave Resort, Johnny’s eclectic taste, technical skill, and energetic presence electrify venues wherever he goes for crowds of all ages.

As a producer, Johnny has a deep bag of experience producing albums and songs in a wide variety of genres. Whether it’s pop hits, hip hop beats, psychadelic rock tracks, meditative acoustic music, futuristic electronic soundscapes, smooth R&B tunes or some combination of those, his eye and ear for cinematic listening experience shine through across the board. As an executive producer, Johnny brings together cohesive projects from concept to final master with grace, skill, and unbridled creativity.
